Flowers are a personal thing. We’d like to introduce you to the people behind ours.
Kerry
Fave food: Chinese or Italian - I love both.
Fave season: Winter. I like snow and that’s when my little boy was born.
Fave flower: Lilies but i do like white and green parrot tulips in the spring.
Fave holiday destination: New York was amazing but I also love Lanzarote.
About me: I have a little boy who keeps me very busy at home. I love football, I support Burnley FC and hate soaps or reality TV! I like new balance trainers (so much so I have one pair of trainers with one shoe size 5 and one shoe size 6 😂)
Jen
Fave food: I just love food, I enjoy cooking and have even been nick named "the feeder"
Fave season: I adore Christmas, the smells, the excitement, wreath making, making Christmas cakes and build up. It all reminds me of being a child with the huge family Christmases.
Fave hol destination: Anywhere, as long as I'm spending time with my family. Our most recent have been Poland and Eygpt. I think we will have to re vist the Dominican white sands one day!
Fave flowers: My house is always full of flowers, i have vases in most rooms, hydrangeas, gladioli, amaryllis (reminds me of my Yaya). Far too many faves when you're addicted to flowers!
About me: I'm married to Chris and we have 3 children and a big bounding golden labrador, who can usually be found by our feet snoring! I love going to the gym, walking and exploring. I'm quite crafty, so usually sat with my sewing box quite close by.

Fave food: Cheese - there isn’t any I don’t like!
Fave season: Autumn- love all the colours of the crisp leaves falling off the trees and love love love anything to do with pumpkins! It was was also the season I got married in.
Fave flower: Gerberas, any colour but my favourite are the ones with a dark centre. They are such a smiley happy flower!
Fave holiday destination: Florida- being by the sea in south west Florida is my idea of heaven.
How long I have worked at Kathleens: 9 years - I started way back in 2011.
About me: I trained as a florist straight from finishing my A-levels by completing a work based diploma through Myerscough College. I love my job, it’s the best feeling when you are able to bring to life what a customer is visualising. Out of work I enjoy going for meals with my husband, family and friends. I'm definitely a movie fan, you can’t beat a good rom com or musical, and I must admit I’m also a massive Disney fan. If you pop into the shop quietly you may hear me belting out one of the Disney classics or singing along to the radio (not that I’m any good at singing 🤣).
Emily
Fave food: I love all food! I enjoy being creative and love cooking! Tapas and a jug of sangria is always a winner.
Fave season: I LOVE SPRING, all the different spring flowers and feel I can be more creative. The crisp mornings walking my bouncing sproodle Patch. I also enjoy Christmas as its time with my family, watching my girls' faces on Christmas morning is priceless.
Fave holiday destination: Greece, for the food, culture, amazing people and many happy memories. Cornwall, this is a regular hotspot for the 3 of us visiting my family, the blue waters and landscapes are enough to make anyones eyes smile.
Fave flower: Hydrangea & eucalyptus, they remind me of my childhood, growing in the garden and look beautiful in a vase just on their own. I love the smell of stocks and anything country feel. I just love FLOWERS!!!! (And anything lilac).
A little about you: I talk, and when I say "I talk", I mean like A LOT! I have 2 beautiful girls who are my life and soul, my everything. I live in a very pretty little village with plenty of walks, so if you can't find me I'm either out walking with Patch, cooking with my girls or planning our next adventure or a sneaky girly catch up (which may include a bottle of wine and a few shots which definitely will lead to dancing and laughing the night away).
